Graduate Council

Defining a Graduate Education

The SDSU Graduate Council supports the vision of excellence for graduate education by ensuring quality control standards across disciplines. It advocates for graduate education, enhances the scholarly community, and focuses on training graduate students while contributing to undergraduate education. The Council also provides support for the Graduate School and addresses key issues critical to the success of graduate programs.

Nomination
Associate Graduate Faculty Nomination

The Associate Graduate Faculty Nomination form should be used to nominate faculty who are not eligible for full graduate faculty status. Full graduate faculty status is given to faculty who are tenured or tenure track, with a rank of assistant professor or above.
