Need to quickly check your email or get an assignment printed?

Loaner Devices
  • The Hilton M. Briggs Library and Information Exchange in the University Student Union offer loaner computers to be checked out.
  • The Support Desk also offers loaner computers for users who have their device at the Support Desk for repairs.
Web Print

SDState offers Web Print services for all students in any of the general use computer labs. It is affordable鈥攐nly 5 cents for a black and white page and 15 cents for a color page. Front and back printing is available in some locations, as well.

You can print from anywhere to Web Print printers around campus, just make sure you are connected to the SDSUStudent wireless. The mobile print release allows for touch less printing directly from your cell phone.

Misuse of Computers

The Student Code explains what is considered computer misuse at SDSU.

Misuse of Computers - Theft of computer time or other abuse of computer access, including, but not limited to:
 

  • 1:10:31:01 Unauthorized entry into a file to use, copy, read, delete or change the contents, or for any other purpose (Censure -- Expulsion).
  • 01:10:31:02 Unauthorized transfer of a file (Censure -- Expulsion).
  • 01:10:31:03 Unauthorized use of another individual's identification or account (Censure -- Expulsion).
  • 01:10:31:04 Use of computing facilities to interfere with the work of another student, faculty member or institutional official (Censure -- Expulsion).
  • 01:10:31:05 Use of computing facilities to send obscene or abusive messages or to engage in unlawful activities, including those involving uses that infringe intellectual properties (Censure -- Expulsion).
  • 01:10:31:06 Use of computing facilities to interfere with the normal operation of the institutional computing system (Censure -- Expulsion).
  • 01:10:31:07 Making, acquiring or using unauthorized copies of computer software, or violating terms of applicable software license agreements (Censure -- Expulsion).
  • 01:10:31:08 Attempting to circumvent data protection schemes or tampering with security (Censure -- Expulsion).
  • 01:10:31:09 Violating institutional or Board internet policies (Censure -- Expulsion).
