Drop Grade Policy

Effective Fall 2015

Drop Grades for courses students withdraw from after the last date to add/drop classes.

  • WD = Withdraw Drop = credits do not calculate in GPA.
  • WFL = Withdraw Fail = credits do calculate in GPA.
  • WW = Withdraw from university = credits do not calculate in GPA.

Students are allowed a maximum of six WD graded undergraduate classes over their academic career. After accumulating six, each additional drop will receive a WFL grade.

Exclusions

  • Drops prior to Fall 2015
  • Withdrawals from the university (Dropping all courses)
  • Transfer courses
  • Lab course (concurrent)
  • Graduate courses
  • Courses dropped Spring 2020, Fall 2020 and Spring 2021
