Landscape architects excel in addressing social and environmental issues with creative and achievable solutions. Classes in this program include art, design, horticulture, biological sciences, site planning and engineering. Students with a passion for creativity and the outdoors become the architects of the parks, campuses, downtowns, streets, trails, plazas, homes and many other essential places in our communities.

At SDSU landscape architecture, we use creativity and problem-solving skills to become better stewards of the natural and built environments. We enjoy creative problem solving while working both indoors and outdoors. We are looking for students with a passion for creativity and the outdoors to join us and learn how to plan and design the parks, campuses, downtowns, streets, trails, plazas, homes and other places our communities are made of.
