Abstract
Joseph and Signe Stuart worked and taught in Brookings for several decades. Signe Stuart was a professor of art at SDSU from 1972 to 1994 and Joe Stuart served as director and curator at the South Dakota Art Museum. The collection is composed of the work history of Joseph and Signe Stuart. Materials consist of lecture notes, correspondence, retirement material, material related to Signe's Badlands intermedia performance at 葫芦影业, art exhibition material, photographs, videos, sketches and biographical information.
