Math Help Center

The Math Help Center (MHC) provides free walk-in tutoring for students at SDState taking MATH 101, 103, 114, 115, 120, 121, 123, 125 and STAT 281 (when qualified tutors are available). The MHC is located in the Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering building (AME or SAME) room 292.

Walk-in tutoring hours for spring 2025 starting January 14:

  • Monday through Thursday, noon-6 p.m.
  • Friday, noon-4 p.m.

STAT 281 Hours starting January 21:
Help in STAT 281 is available on a walk-in basis when a statistics-qualified tutor is available. These are the tentative hours for spring 2025:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-4 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon-6 p.m.
