Swine Education and Research Facility
Building Description
Built in 2016, the Swine Education and Research Facility provides resources to elevate undergraduate animal science, pre-veterinary science and agricultural engineering curriculums. They provide expanded opportunities for undergraduate and graduate research projects.
Accessible facilities for SDSU Extension and public outreach efforts to educate interested stakeholders about swine production. The facility consists of three buildings, including a Sow Teaching and Intensive Research Complex, an on-site Wean-to-Finish Research Barn and an off-site Wean-to-Finish Production Barn.
