Professional Development Opportunities

The Child and Family Resource Network provides a variety of online and in-person classes as well as a selection of statewide learning opportunities.

American Heartsaver CPR AED and First Aid

Cost is varied from $0- $50, depending on child care program employment. Register early as class size is limited.

SD Child Development Associate

The SDCDA Training Project provides early childhood professional training and mentoring for individuals who work with children in child care centers, family child care homes, preschools and out-of-school time programs.

School-Age Care (Out-of-School Time) Information

The Child and Family Resource Network provides resources for schools and communities that want to offer structured and safe environments for children when they are not in school.

Infant/Toddler Training

The Child and Family Resource Network offers a variety of services to support individuals who are dedicated to offering the best possible care for young children.
