Abby Wortman is the clinical and lab instructor for the Respiratory Care program in Rapid City, South Dakota. She graduated in 2009 with her associate degree in respiratory. Her career then began at Monument Health in Rapid City where she still currently works. While finishing her bachelor’s degree, she continued to work as a clinical specialist and primarily in adult ICU, NICU and emergency department. In 2017, Abby took on the role of clinical instructor for DSU’s respiratory program. Abby currently teaches clinical and labs in Introduction to Respiratory Care, Respiratory Critical Care and Respiratory Care in Clinical Medicine and Respiratory Management.
