Ellie Arndt
Instructor
Biography
I am a human factors psychologist who specializes in the usability of educational technology and how attitudes toward said technology may impact actual learning outcomes. At SDSU, I teach general psychology for majors and non-majors, Research Methods in Psychology I and II online (a year long course in which students learn and practice research skills, including the conception and design of research protocols and data collection and analysis), Cross-Cultural Psychology, Child Psychopathology and Psychological Therapies. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to teach a special topics course in Human Factors Psychology. In addition to my role as an instructor, I am the SONA administrator for the School of Psychology, Sociology and Rural Studies, I very much enjoy mentoring students in their research interests and helping them as they prepare for graduate study and/or career exploration.
