Student Success Advising
Student success advisors are similar to academic advisors, but they help with more than just academics. While academic advisors assist with tasks like changing majors or class registration, student success advisors help with topics like time and stress management, adjusting to college, building relationships and finding campus resources.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility has two student success advisors who support all students, with a focus on those from underrepresented backgrounds.
Students can connect with a student success advisor by scheduling an appointment via ConnectState, calling the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility at 605-688-5585, or stopping by the Multicultural Center in the University Student Union (271).
