The English major with an English education specialization is designed to prepare the student for a career in high school or middle school teaching.

This degree involves literature, linguistics and writing coursework. Students receive a well-rounded background in literature, but with more intensive work in creative and/or professional writing.

In this program, you can combine elements of traditional academic programs in business, the arts, humanities and sciences, in order to fulfill unique career and educational aspirations.
