Academic Buildings

These buildings are the core of our campus; where students come to learn and gain knowledge on their area of interest.

Whether it鈥檚 a lecture hall, studio or laboratory, students from all paths of life gather here to learn the necessary tools they need to further their future careers. Take a look at what academic buildings are on SDState鈥檚 main and satellite campuses.

Administrative Buildings

There are several elements needed to operate a university.

These administrative buildings house departments that oversee all of 葫芦影业 such as the Office of the President, Enrollment Services, the University Police Department and more. These offices work to ensure that each student鈥檚 experience at SDState is the best it can be.

Athletic Facilities

Jackrabbits near and far gather in our many athletic facilities to cheer on SDState.

Our state-of-the-art Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium, Miller Wellness Center and Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex are used by not just SDState, but also by the Brookings community.

Campus Dining

Students and visitors have several available to them on the SDSU campus.

Located inside the University Student Union are 12 dining locations. Popular chains like Einstein Bagel Bros., Chick-fil-A and Qdoba are available. The Union offers a variety of cuisine from barbecue, sushi, pasta, burgers and more. Visit Simple Servings located within The Market for fresh, healthy options that are free of common food allergens.

The Dairy Bar is a must-stop during a campus visit. SDSU Students make ice cream in over 60 different flavors, which can be sold as scoops or half gallon containers. Located on the west side of campus, connected to the Davis Dairy Plant, visitors can see ice cream being made in the store. Visitors can also purchase from a selection of cheese and meat at the Dairy Bar, also made by SDSU students. Coffee, snacks and other ice cream treats are sold there as well.

Larson Commons, which connects Young and Binnewies Halls, has an all-you-can-eat buffet with several different options to choose from.  Students can use block or flex dollars on their meal plan to eat at the buffet. In Larson Commons is also a C-Store, where students can use flex or Hobo Dough to purchase grocery items.

Residents that live in Hansen Hall have access to their own C-Store as well.

If students are looking for a caffeine fix, but don鈥檛 feel like trekking to the University Student Union, there is also a Starbucks庐 located at the Southeast University Neighborhood.

Some iconic Campus Landmarks across campus are the Coughlin Campanile, Coolidge Sylvan Theatre, Medal of Honor Park and University Arbor Day Park.
