Biography
Hamada Elfarargy is an assistant professor of educational leadership in the School of Education, Counseling and Human Development (SECHD) at 葫芦影业. He earned his Ph.D. in educational administration as a distinguished honor graduate from Texas A&M University (TAMU), College Station, Texas. Before joining SDSU, he was a postdoctoral research associate and a project coordinator at the Education Leadership Research Center, TAMU where he worked on multiple federally funded projects for principal preparation and school enhancement. He assisted in conducting root cause analyses and providing professional development to teachers and leadership teams in high-needs schools. He served as a high school teacher and school administrator for almost 20 years. He was the principal of the first STEM high school for gifted and talented in Egypt and the Middle East. His research interests focus on topics including principalship, principal preparation programs, instructional leadership, teacher preparation, mentoring and coaching, school improvement and effectiveness and STEM education. He has presented his research work in nationally recognized conferences including the American Educational Research Association (AERA). He has also published his research work in high impact journals including the Journal of Educational Administration.
